But one of the most important steps in the process happens before we ever swing a hammer: deciding if you’re truly ready to move forward with your project.

Why Timing Matters

Remodeling costs aren’t static. Material and labor prices move up and down just like the stock market—sometimes changing week by week. To protect both you and our company, we lock in your estimate for 7 days.

Here’s how our pricing policy works:

• Valid for 7 Days – Your estimate is locked in for a full week after it’s issued. If you approve the project within this window, your price is guaranteed.
• After 7 Days – Prices increase by 10% and any available discounts are removed.
• After 15 Days – An additional 10% increase applies (now 20% higher than the original estimate).
• After 30 Days – The estimate expires, and we’ll need to create a completely new proposal, which includes a non-refundable fee. Material costs and project pricing will be updated to reflect the current market.

Be Clear on Your Budget from the Start

One of the most important steps before calling a contractor is making sure you’ve established a realistic budget. Remodeling projects can vary widely in cost depending on the scope of work and the materials you choose. Knowing your top dollar—the absolute maximum you’re willing to invest—helps us guide you in the right direction.

When we meet for an estimate, we’ll have an open conversation about your budget. If your budget aligns with your vision, we’ll help you maximize it and show you exactly what’s possible. If your budget is lower than what your wishlist requires, we’ll walk you through what can realistically be achieved within that number and provide clear options for upgrades that may cost extra. If your budget is nowhere near what’s reasonable for the scope of the project, we’ll be upfront with you about the minimum investment required and what you can expect at that level.

Respecting Everyone’s Time

Our time is valuable, and so is yours. When you schedule an estimate, we dedicate resources to visiting your home, understanding your goals, and creating a detailed proposal. That’s why it’s important to be ready before you call. If you’re still in the “just exploring” phase, let us know—that way, we can still provide a consultation, but it will come with a service fee for the estimate.
